• 1 cup of fine salt
• 1/2 cup of water
• glitter (optional)
• pink or red food coloring
• your child's hand
• a heart-shaped cookie cutter
• a knife
• cookie letter stamps
• a photo
• string

1. To begin, mix the flour and salt in a bowl. Add in the water until the mixture forms a dough. Next, add some pink or red food coloring to give it a Valentine's Day feel. Knead the dough with your hands until the color is even. You can add some glitter for an extra sparkly effect if you'd like.

2. Roll out the dough until it's about 1⁄4 inch thick. Then use the heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out hearts from the dough. Use the knife to cut out two small circles in the center of each heart. Have your child press their hand into each heart and stamp I love you or another Valentine's Day phrase using the cookie letter stamps. Place the photo behind the heart and secure it with string.
